Former 2020 Group I Australian Derby runner-up Eric The Eel has made his mark overseas at Sha Tin Racecourse. 1b2w2r
Now known as Tourbillon Diamond the four year old gelding is trained by famed Hong Kong trainer C S Shum.
Although not impressing in his two Hong Kong trials Tourbillon Diamond has ran 3rd and 1st in his first two races overseas.
Shortly after his Australian Derby place Tourbillon Diamond was sold to buyers in Hong Kong.
These buyers are hoping for some great Group I races from the 4 year old resulting in a spot in the 2021 Hong Kong Derby in March.
